New beginnings

In 2014, I retired from work to start a new kind of life. I was lucky - I didn't have to face an immediate crisis about what I would do in my retirement. We were running out of time to start work on a building project that we had obtained a permit for almost 5 years earlier. My son Frank had returned from overseas and we were now ready to begin!
